We are a religious congregation
We have sacrificed our lives for spreading the Gospel and helping people. As members of our religious congregation we take vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience, that do not allow us to accumulate wealth for ourselves. Our whole life is a way of following Jesus Christ according to the moral teaching of the Catholic Church, its Code of Canon Law, and our Constitution where it is written: "Gifts offered for a specific purpose should be disposed of as soon as possible according to the intention of the donor."
Your donations are not our only source of income. Our consecration, our missions, and our projects would not perish, if nobody supported us. However, with your help we can do our job better and we can help faster and in greater scale.
Our communities and projects are all around the world
We work in more than 70 countries and are one of the biggest missionary religious congregations in the world. More than six thousand men daily pray, sacrifice, and work for the good of the nations and salvation of people.
Since the foundation of our congregation in 1875 we have built a good reputation in the Chruch and in the World. Pope Francis said about our congregation: "The Divine Word Missionaries do a lot of good work without making noise."

We insist on transparency
We write down how every donation is used. It is our strict rule to keep accountability when it comes to gifts, donations, and finances in general.
Anytime you can ask us to have a look at the documents and accounts of the project you support. As a donor you have a full right to ask questions and receive explanations.
We keep regular contact with our donors and supporters
I our daily prayers we remember you and all our donors. We inform you regularly about the progress of the project supported by you. You can ask us about anything you want to know about the project, you can share your donor experience with us, you can complain or encourage us. If there is a need, feel free to ask us for more intensive prayers for you and your intentions.
In case you find our communication with you too demanding, you can ask us to stop sending you messages and we will respect it.

You can contact the dioceses where we work and ask the official Catholic authorities about us. For example bulawayoarchdiocese.org is the website of the Bulawayo Archdiocese where most of us serve as priests.
If you live in a country where the Divine Word Missionaries work, you can easily google their local website and their contact details. Just call them or write a message to them requesting a confirmation of any info about our mission in Zimbabwe.
